Tuesday night was such a nice night that the pups and I decided to skip what needed to be done and just go for a plain old fashioned hike. So we did for two hours in the deep woods behind the house. It was so pleasant, warm, peaceful, serene. The pups had a really great time and when we returned home they were plain old fashioned tired out!
I will apologize in advance for the pictures because I didn't think to take my camera but did have the cell phone with me. Poor Sampson's pic didn't turn out at all as he was nothing but a blur so I will skip that one and just share the other three so maybe you can get a feeling of just how peaceful it was.
A purple trillium, rare around here.
The deep woods. I just love the ferns!
And so does Dew!
Happy Dogs on Thursday!

ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me. These pictures are wonderful, better than my phone. The colors are really rich and your framing is fabulous. I love the contrast of the Dew among the green ferns.
